As I begin this sentence, I am not planning on this post being very long (things always change though).

The last two days have been wonderful and difficult all at the same time. I am sure a lot of people have these types of days. It has been difficult in the sense that my “day job” seems more demanding and more frustrating with added stressors of rescheduling and rescheduling and rescheduling and…. rescheduling (even writing it is exhausting). Now, I consider myself a pretty flexible person and I truly believe that God has blessed me with the ability to extend grace even when it is not the easiest thing to do, but this is where the good news comes.

Meeting with pastors, investing in a small group discussion, interviews, pouring into others, focused quality time with my wife, and incredible comfort from God. Through scripture, great talks and sermons, conversations with Jessie, small group discussions and even an unexpected word from God in the middle of an interview with Indiana Wesleyan University. God is preparing something big and my prayer for Jessie and myself is that we can prepare ourselves for whatever God has for us and we will be able to act when the opportunity or opportunities come.

Like I have said before – I have no idea how many people read these messages and what their thoughts are regarding the articles. My hope and prayer is that my words can inspire, challenge, provoke, build courage, provide answers or at least begin to answer questions. I love sharing what God is doing in my life and I love to hear what God is doing in others’ lives. If you aren’t sure about God or Jesus, but you have some questions, please seek answers. The challenge may be to actually ask about Jesus and ask about God and begin to explore how it all makes sense in your own way. I began this blog for a few reasons:

  • The simple joy of writing
  • Reach people on a larger scale
  • Help Others

If you’re reading this right now, I challenge you to write an email, make a phone call, schedule a meeting, or begin to seek answers. What God has for me is too important and valuable to keep it all to myself. What are your questions? What are you seeking? What have you lost or think you have lost? You no longer have to sit and wonder what may happen next or hope tomorrow, next week, next month or next year will be better. Make a choice today.

If I come across as pushy, that is sort of the point, but please do not see pushy. See crucial, see passionate, see absolutely too important to stay quiet any longer. You have questions and want or need answers. Begin answering those questions today!
